Your vacation home is waiting!

We have just the place for you.

In addition to the beautiful beaches, there are so many fun things to do for the average adventure seeker in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Here are a few cool things to try on your next visit.

Captain CJ’s Everglades Jet Pack Adventures is a one-of-a-kind experience where you will fly around over the water using only a water propelled jet pack. You start out in the water, being guided by your instructor through speakers in your helmet. He’ll walk you through how to propel yourself right out of the water, using only your jet pack. Water is forced into a pump, which shoots the water up into your jets, then is forced downward, making you rise and fly out of the water, while you control your up, down, left and right movements. You wear a USCG-approved vest and a helmet, and all you need to bring is your bathing suit, payment, towel, and your ID. They fly between 8:30 and 1 hour before sunset every day. You must be a mature 14 years old or older, be between 5′ to 6’6″, weigh between 100 and 350 pounds, and there are some health restrictions. Call (239) 389-9JET for an appointment.

Paradise Parasail, Inc. has a USCG inspected vessel, being driven by a USCG captain, and will safely harness you and a couple of your friends up onto a huge chute, and sail you along 1200 feet behind them, on a once in a lifetime parasailing adventure. With over 30 years of experience, they can dunk you in the water, or they can trail you low enough to dip your toes in the waves, or you don’t have to get wet at all. You will experience beautiful views of the coastline, soaring above the ocean at heights of up to 50 feet. Just wear your bathing suit if you want to get wet, or something comfortable if you don’t. Call (239) 463-PARA to reserve a spot.

The Everglades Adventure Tour, from Everglades Tours, will get you up close and personal with some of the most interesting wildlife you’ll ever see. Be picked up from your accommodation and take a ride to the Everglades with a certified naturalist guide to narrate the way. Once there, you’ll take a 50 minute airboat ride through the marsh and saw grass prairie. You’ll stop for lunch in Everglades City, dining on fried alligator tail and biscuits, then go for a 40 minute swamp buggy tour of the Cypress hardwood swamp, which is home to black bears, alligators, and more. After that tour, you’ll be taken to a live exhibit where you’ll get the opportunity to personally handle exotic birds, wild tortoises, alligators and snakes. Then you’ll be taken on a wildlife drive to see alligators in their natural habitat. This tour is for ages 6 and up, lasts about 8 hours, and includes lunch. Call (239) 405-2060 for reservations.
