"Being completely refurbished since Hurricane Ian, the entire property is very nice, quaint and cozy--everything is new--but be prepared for the reconstruction noise starting at 9:00 am. The property is located in a neighborhood that's a short walk to the beach and about a half mile from Times Square--bring your walking shoes because traffic is horrendous. Thankfully, although evidence of the hurricane is everywhere, businesses and restaurants are reopening and there's lots to do. On windy days when the sand is blowing, the pool and hot tub in back are a welcome and relaxing respite where guests can mingle. Our unit was clean and well appointed except for some weird cut off pipe and poorly fitted water control in the shower that wasn't sealed and was smaller than the hole for it in the enclosure. This unit is comfortable for a couple and the pull out couch can accommodate two children, but the small bathroom limits the unit to one couple or a small family, though other units are available at the property. It would have been nice if the listing accurately stated that beach chairs and umbrellas are available at the property on a first come basis--this would have saved us $150 renting them ahead of time. All in all this property more than met our expectations."
